Datsun 1200 coupe 1972 model

ENGINE : Nissan CA18 DET
HEAD: Twin overhead cams (stock) ported slightly with 
match ported manifolds.
BLOCK: Forged 40 thou APEP pistons 8:1 compression.
INDUCTION: Microtech MT8 controlled. Garret GT25 roller bearing turbo turbo
smart bleed valve running 15psi.
EXHAUST: 3" dump off turbo 3" to diff then 2.5" to rear 
muffler & dump.
COOLING: VN V8 radiator, Front Mount Air to Air Intercooler 
& Engine oil cooler.
IGNITION: Factory module and direct fire coils controlled 
by MT8.
FUEL SYSTEM: 3/8 pickup from tank, Holley red pumps
into 1 ltr surge tank then 1/2 outlet to porchse EFI pump 
up to factory injectors.
GEARBOX: Stumpy skyline 5 speed with CA18 belhousing.Custom made 3" tailshaft with heavy duty uni's.
CLUTCH: Sprung centre 4 puck button clutch with heavy duty pressure plate.
DIFF: Mitsubishi Scorpion diff with 4.625:1 L300 van centre 
for track work (locked) and standard 3.3:1 for street duties.
FRONT BRAKES:10"vented with hilux 4 spot calipers
REAR BRAKES: 9" standard Mitsubishi discs with standard calipers.
FRONT SUSPENSION: Stanza struts with 2" lowered 200lb front springs Pedders Custom strut insert, standard swaybar with 25mm strut tower brace.
REAR SUSPENSION: Custom made reverse eye leaf springs with extra leaf & built in anti tramp, Pedders sports gas shock no swaybar.
WHEELS AND TYRES: Street 14x6 CSA hornets with Bridgestone RE710s 195/60/14.
Track 14x6 alloys with 195/60/14 yokie Aoo8rs.
INTERIOR: Sparco race seat with 4 point harness, 6 point alloy rollcage, sport steering wheel & knob.No rear seats or anything else :)
EXTERIOR: $150 enamel paint job, one weekend in garage :). Fibreglass flares, Nissan Patrol bonnet scoop.
PERFORMANCE: Quarter mile 12.45@108mph at Eastern creek 0-100kmh just under 5 seconds.
HORSEPOWER: With stock turbo was 172@ rear wheels 15psi falling back to 10psi  Aprox210-220 @ flywheel.
With GT25 turbo will be over 200@ rear wheels running 15psi constant.Approx 280-290 @ Flywheel.
COST: So far Under $15000.
 

 

Update
Respray in White
The head and block have been Oringed and in the performance
it has run 12.0@113mph with 15psi. Hp when last dynoed was 225 running 15psi with roller bearing turbo approx 300hp at flywheel. It had 172 with same boost stock turbo.Since last dyno run i have done a few more mods so hp should be around 250-260 at rears running 18psi. And capable of high to mid 11's.
